I live and work on the Sunshine Coast with my husband and two young children. By day I work with solo business owners and heart based entrepreneurs to help them build their businesses and develop their marketing to get great results, and by night I’m mum! I also network quite a bit locally, and speak nationally, so life is never boring! My husband Deane has a thriving home based massage practice, where I get to try out all of my ideas (don’t worry, they are proven strategies)!

MY STORY

Once upon a time there was an advertising executive who heard a rumour…..”find what you love and make a living at it, and never work a day in your life”….

That was me.

Well it so happened that I loved doing aerobics classes, so I decided to become an aerobics instructor. Pretty soon, I was offered a full time job at the gym I worked at, to teach classes and build their membership. We built the membership alright – from 150 to 1400 – through good ‘ol customer loyalty! But alas, I injured my back teaching ‘Pump’ classes, and that was the end of my fitness career.

By now I had a new interest, public health, so I decided to study Health Promotion at uni. It took 7 years, but I finally graduated with degrees in Health Promotion and Health Services Management and began work writing policy in the health sector. After a series of events, and the end of my contract, my husband and I moved to Queensland and began our own health business, Vitality Options Massage.

We noticed that many of our health practitioner friends were quitting the industry, unable to get enough clients.

One day I had a moment of clarity and realised – What the…! I can help these people! I can help health practitioners to build thriving businesses……and so a new business was born……
